The Sunday before Christmas. Reid and I stayed home, but I had to put his little Christmas sweater on for some pictures!
Christmas Eve jammies from Grandma Kathy. Hayden wore them all day long!
She also baked my grandma Cowan's rolls with me
Our neighbors the Tansey's gave Reid a cute santa outfit
Christmas Eve family pictures before dinner
We had California Chowder, rolls, and honey baked ham
We read the nativity story while Hayden acted out Mary's part (she loved this if you can't tell)
Opening Hayden and Reid's Christmas jammies from Grandma Anne. Paul got me these cute ones and I got Paul some as well.
Leaving out treats for Santa
Christmas morning! How tired do I look?
Hayden had a great time opening all her presents. She got way to spoiled by her grandparents and mom and dad! Some of her favorites were her Doc McStuffins outfit, her car, shopping cart, paintable tea set, and legos. She got lots of fun stuff that kept her entertained for weeks after. My mental picture of Hayden for Christmas 2013 will be her sitting in her car while pushing her shopping cart around! Paul and I are worried we are helping her prepare for life as a homeless person. She really likes living out of a car and keeping all her precious belongings in a shopping cart!
Reid was such a great little baby. She laid down on a blanket and kicked around while we opened presents. He got tired and took a nap for the last part of it while we made swedi hotcakes and green smoothies. The day flew by and I even got a nap in!
For New Years we headed to Oxford Mississippi to spend Monday through Thursday with Paul's brother Russ and his family. Hayden had so much fun playing outside in coveralls with cousins (wish I had gotten pictures of this!) One morning she asked me, "what are the boys doing are we wrestling or just playing today?" She loves being with them even if they are all boys :) We rang in the New Year with quite the firework show.
