- We officially paid off our Honda Pilot yesterday after 18 months of our purchase date! We are proud of this accomplishment as it was not easy to make the double payments since I stopped working.
- Yesterday Hayden and I went to our first ever "play-group." Hayden was too young in Cheyenne and I worked on the day they had it & they never had a play-group in Indiana. The moms in the Lost Mountain Ward are so kind and inviting. We both had so much fun: I had adult time and Hayden ate tons of junk food and played. We had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids, but Hayden hasn't quite caught on yet. She was happy after she found a sucker and she was done! I don't know if it was all the sugar or what but she was so jazzed up that she didn't even take a nap yesterday!
- I took Hayden to her pre-operation appointment today. I signed lots and lots of papers (with Hayden's help of course), was given post-op instructions, and they examined her again. Her tonsils looked bigger to the doctor today and she said she will definitely have to have them removed in the future. She said they measure at a 4 on a scale of 1-4! I am most worried about not being able to give Hayden milk the morning of the operation. She loves her milk!

Make sure you get some video footage of Hayden trying to Easter egg hunt.
ReplyDeleteShe did better than Paul. He had some kid take the candy he tried to pick up and cried! Hayden is in our prayers for her surgery. Keep us updated. We love that little princess. Love you all
ReplyDeleteKristine you also loved your milk, but your dad gave you a blessing the night before your operation and the next day you weren't even interested in milk. Hayden is such a great little girl that she is going to be just fine and so will you and Paul.
ReplyDeleteawesome on paying off your car - we are so alike. David and I have done that with all of our vehicles. We bought our van last summer and will pay it off this summer. Just something about not having a car payment! now, wish we could do that on a house!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI remember feeling nervous about Drew the morning of his surgery but distraction worked wonders and by the time we got him in the car, he wasn't asking for anything.
