Christmas Season

I keep telling Paul that I refuse to move or have a baby during the Christmas season ever again!  Seriously, the last 3 holidays have been crazy.  In 2013 Reid was born, 2014 we moved and 2015 Beckett was born!  I am excited (hopefully) for next year where we will be able to enjoy the holidays a little more without the added stress!  I got all my Christmas shopping and wrapping done before Beckett arrived which helped a lot!  We were still able to do a few fun things this season.

We decorated our house and tree (with Grandma Anne's help!)  Reid helped a little but started being a stinker right around Christmas and didn't want his picture taken.

One of our first outings with all 3 kids was to see Santa at Bass Pro Shop.  Hayden told Santa that all she wanted for Christmas was "my two front teeth!"  Santa thought Beckett was a girl, and Reid was just along for the ride.  It was pretty funny, he just went right up to him, sat on his lap and waited to receive his candy cane.  It didn't phase him one bit.

We celebrated St. Nicholas Day by leaving out our shoes

Hayden was the only one who got dressed up for Christmas on Sunday.  Reid, Beckett and I stayed home!

We even managed to make a gingerbread house which has become a favorite Christmas Tradition at our house.  We visited the gingerbread display and the LDS visitors center at winter quarters and saw they used cereal to decorate their roofs, so we stepped it up this year and got a little fancier :)

On Christmas Eve we got a HUGE amount of snow.  Hayden lasted a little while, but Reid "helped" shovel snow with dad for over and hour!

On Christmas Eve we went to the Housers house.  We had homemade rolls, soup, veggie tray, honey baked ham, and treats, it was delicious!  Like always the kids acted out the Nativity Story and we played the $1 gift game.

We finally managed to get a group picture!!!

The many attempts of trying to get Reid to sit still for a picture under the tree!

What Beckett did most of the day

Beckett just enjoying the day!

We're not sure what Reid is doing here, but it was pretty funny!

Some of Hayden's favorite Christmas gifts included her charm bracelet and suit case from Grandma and Grandpa Pratt, her hair styling center for her American Girl Doll from Grandma Kathy, and her new American Girl Doll kitchen!

Reid LOVED his trains probably more than any other toy he got for Christmas.  He has also enjoyed his basketball hoop and car ramp, but the trains were the biggest hit.  I'm curious to see how long this obsession lasts.

We FaceTimed with family throughout the day and got to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and that night we had our friends the Chapman's over for dinner.  They moved the next week, so we were glad we got to hang out with them one last night.  It's always kind of sad to me when all the presents are opened and Christmas has ended for another year.  Despite the craziness of bringing Beckett into our family, we had a wonderful Christmas break.
